What is Openlight Media?

Last Friday, we launched Openlight Media, formerly Lumen Ecclesiae Digital. I want to explain the name of the site and highlight one section. 

If you look carefully at the logo, the OP is intentionally different to distinguish the Order of Preachers (the Dominicans). It can read Order of Preacher’s Enlight. The logo also includes the torch symbol, which we use for Lumen Ecclesiae Digital and Press. I need to give a shout-out to Anthem Branding for their amazing design and professionalism. If you need an introduction, feel free to contact me. 

I also want to explain Openlight Media Plus. While we would love to provide our video series and courses for free, it has proven to be impossible. As you may recall, we offered Cultivating the Virtues for free during the pandemic and asked for donations. We did receive some generous donations but not nearly enough to cover the production costs. However, for less than the price of a latte per month, you can get an annual membership for $29.95. It provides you with the video series, additional virtue materials, educational videos, music by the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, free downloads, and more. In fact, in early July, we will be providing access to another series–From Vice to Virtue. All the content is professionally produced and engaging.
