IDEA BANK > Cultivating the Virtues Video Lessons

“But how do I teach this?”

When you haven’t seen it done before, teaching something entirely new is daunting. That’s where this video series can help — bringing you and your students lessons on each virtue taught by an expert: a Dominican Sister of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist.

The lessons are divided into 15-minute segments that can be included easily in your classroom routine. They include not only a lesson on what the virtue is, but also an example story about living the virtue, the witness of the saints, and a Scripture-based prayer activity on the virtue, with all the worksheets you need for your students easily accessible. These integrated and engaging presentations will have you and your students drawing on the language of the virtues in your conversation and making living the virtues part of your classroom culture.
