Lenten Journal, Stand Faithfully

How can we stand faithfully and walk in the footsteps of our Lord and Savior? Jesus gave us the answer from the cross when He looked at John and said, “Behold your mother.” Yes, he took her into his home but most importantly, he welcomed her into his heart. Let us heed the words of Christ and welcome His mother into our heart as we follow the steps of her Son. With her, we too, will stand faithfully and experience the joy of knowing we are first loved by God (1 John 4:19), who sent His Son so that we might have eternal life (John 3:16).
