When Sister Maria Benedicta, O.P. was reading a biography of Mother Theresa in 5th grade, she realized that she too could say yes to the call that the Lord had put on her heart. She was raised in a devout Catholic family that planted seeds which have blossomed into a profound trust in the Lord. This trust enabled her to say “yes” when God asked her to be His bride.
